District 30B

***Republican Endorsed***

Bill Kuisle (pronounced “kweez-lee”) is a life-long resident of Olmsted County and grew up the middle child of 11 on the family farm near Stewartville. At age 24, Bill took over the farm when his dad died in a farm accident.Family

While tending to the family dairy farm, Bill wanted to give back to the community that had been so gracious to his family over the years. His public service career began when he was elected to the High Forest Township Board. He later served on the Olmsted County Board and was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 1996.

Long a bachelor, Bill married the love of his life, Lisa Behnken in 2002. Lisa grew up northeast of Rochester in Haverhill Township and is currently employed as an Agronomist for the University of Minnesota Extension Service.

With Lisa’s help, and the help of the experienced medical teams at Mayo Clinic and the Olmsted Medical Center, Bill fought, and won, a two year battle with cancer. Undergoing chemotherapy alongside children convinced Bill how important it is to find a cure and that major medical advances will result from the partnership of the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic. He is committed to furthering that goal.

Bill knows southeast Minnesota needs an experienced, hardworking voice willing to put people before politics. He’s asking for your support and vote to put his experience back to work for Olmsted and Wabasha counties.
