Dear Friends,
From 1996-2004, I had the honor and
privilege of representing you in the Minnesota House of Representatives. I
am asking for your support and vote once again so that I can put my
experience back to work on the important issues facing our families.
As a lifelong resident of Olmsted
County, I understand the unique needs of southeast Minnesota and want to
represent your priorities in St. Paul – from academic excellence in our
schools, to strong fiscal leadership, to sound health care policy, to good
jobs and secure retirement.
As a survivor of colon cancer recently
given a clean bill of health by Mayo doctors, I’m confident we will make
major medical advances with the partnership of the University of Minnesota
and Mayo Clinic. While sitting next to a small child as we both waited to
undergo chemotherapy, it became very clear just how critical it is to find
a cure, and how this partnership will further that goal.
The Rochester region is a great place
to live and work, and we need leaders with the background and experience to
build on the strengths of our communities. I’m proud to have been the chief
sponsor of legislation that secured the necessary state funding to complete
Highway 52 and will continue my work on the four year university plan for
Rochester.
Working together, we can accomplish
great things for Olmsted and Wabasha counties! I respectfully ask for your
support and vote and welcome your input, comments and suggestions.
Sincerely,

Bill Kuisle
Candidate for State Representative
